
Mr. Buddy Hing
APIA Founder and Immediate Past Co-President
Mr. Buddy Hing is one of the co-founders of APIA. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1959. After spending 30 years as the Maricopa College District Auditor, Buddy took an early retirement in 1989 and is currently fully retired. Before working for the district, Buddy was also employed as an auditor for the Arizona State Auditor General's Office from 1962 to 1969. This office audits all County, State and Community Colleges records.
APIA's student scholarship was made possible by Buddy's generous donations to its foundation. Buddy has been a very active and caring APIA member since its inception. He has served as treasurer, vice president, and currently as co-president of APIA. Buddy also serves as the treasurer and deacon at the Northwest Chinese Baptist Church. Buddy is also actively involved in the Phoenix Chinese Community.
Buddy is married to Jeanette, a public school's educator in Phoenix, and has two sons and two daughers.
