District Office

The Maricopa Community Colleges comprise 10 colleges, 2 skill centers and numerous education centers dedicated to educational excellence. The District is one of the largest higher education systems in the world and the largest provider of health care workers and job training in Arizona — a major resource for business and industry and for individuals seeking education and job training.

In Fall 2006, the Maricopa Community Colleges employed nearly 4,500 full-time faculty and staff and more than 9,000 part-time faculty and staff.

The Maricopa Community Colleges District Office houses leadership and support functions for the entire district. In addition to the offices of Dr. Rufus Glasper, District Chancellor, the office comprises the following divisions: Academic Affairs, Business Services, Human Resources, Information Technologies and Student & Community Affairs.
