Assistant to the Governing Board

Gloria Smith is responsible for planning and coordinating Governing Board functions including regular meetings, strategic conversations, retreats, local and national workshops, and special conferences and speakers.

The Assistant to the Governing Board serves as a liaison between the Governing Board, students, staff, administrators, faculty, legislators, other educational institutions, national and local organizations, and the community at large. Other responsibilities include maintaining public Board records and Board policies, monitoring the budget, coordinating Board member travel, and conducting research.
