The 31 pilot program participants were selected from 75 internal applicants from across the district. We thank everyone who expressed interest in the pilot. We hope that employees will continue to pursue the numerous development opportunities available to them as employees of MCCD.

The application process for the Leadership Advancement Pilot has closed and the review process is underway. After applications are reviewed and considered by each location’s leadership they will be reviewed by the Talent Management Steering Team. Notification to program applicants is planned to go out by October 23, 2009.

The Leadership Advancement Program (LAP) Pilot is another opportunity for MCCD to continue to develop internal talent for current and future leadership needs. The LAP is most appropriate for those aspiring to enter or advance within the senior leadership ranks (examples of senior level leadership include vice presidents, division chairs, deans, associate deans, directors).
