Changes for District Wide
SharePoint Login

ACTION ITEM:
Administrators will need to reset permissions

When: 

10:00 PM Wednesdy, November 4th
through 8:00 AM Thursday, November 5th

Services Impacted:

In coordination between Rio Salado and District Office, changes will be made to all District Wide SharePoint sites to allow for MEID login as noted above. These changes will address issues that some individuals currently have with successful login using full email username and passwords to sites such as Compliance, Microsoft Employee Purchase Programs, and SIS support. Once complete, the login pages should say "Please enter your MEID and password".

Important Note: Each site administrator will need to reset permissions to finish the process. New processes will be communicated to the site administrators shortly. Some site administrators may need a few days to make the changes for the new login. We ask for your patience as these changes are made.

Issues should be reported through your college Help Desk. Thank you.

Monthly SIS Maintenance Window & Software Version Upgrades

Due to the time needed for monthly maintenance & software version upgrades this work is expanded over two weekends.

There are two maintenance windows scheduled in this communication:

SIS Monthly Maintenance
6:00 PM Saturday, November 7th
through 6:00 PM Sunday, November 8th

SIS Bundle Upgrade
6:00 PM Saturday, November 14th through 6:00 PM Sunday, November 15th

Services Impacted:

There are two maintenance windows scheduled in this communication.

SIS Monthly Maintenance
SIS will be unavailable Saturday, November 7th, beginning at 6:00 PM through Sunday, November 8th at 6:00 PM for monthly maintenance.

SIS Bundle Upgrade
SIS will be unavailable Saturday, November 14th, beginning at 6:00 PM through Sunday, November 15th at 6:00 PM for software version upgrades.

Services impacted during both maintenance schedules include:

  • Login to Student and Faculty Centers will NOT be available.
  • All SIS training and testing databases (EASIS Plus) will NOT be available.
  • Find a Class and Catalog search links on the http://www.my.maricopa.edu page will NOT be available.
  • College Reporting Teams: BOEXI will NOT be available.
  • EIMS Tools (Employee Tools: PAT & AT - Student Tools: MAW, SAT, SPAT will NOT be available.
  • Enterprise Blackboard WILL be available. Students WILL be able to authenticate but will NOT be able to change a password during this time.

Announcement will be placed on my.maricopa.edu and Blackboard login pages indicating the system is unavailable. MCCCD's Help Desk has been notified.

A "system restored" notice will be posted to the announcement pages at the above URL when maintenance has been completed.

EIMS Tools, BOEXI & CFS Services
Sunday Morning November 22


ACTION ITEM:

When: 

Sunday, November 22
from 9:00 AM until Noon

Services Impacted:

EIMS Tools, BOEXI and College Financial Services (CFS) will be unavailable Sunday, November 22nd from 9:00 AM to Noon.

Services impacted:

  • The server that hosts CFS will be shut down in order to install a firmware upgrade to the EVA 4400 storage arrays used by CFS and other servers. There will be no access to CFS during this time period.
  • College Reporting Teams: BOEXI will NOT be available.
  • EIMS Tools (Employee Tools: PAT & AT - Student Tools: MAW, SAT, SPAT) will NOT be available.
  • Enterprise Blackboard WILL be available. Students WILL be able to authenticate but will NOT be able to change a password during this time.

Announcements will be placed on my.maricopa.edu and Blackboard login pages indicating the system is unavailable. MCCCD's Help Desk has been notified.
