Fields of Interest
Maricopa Community Colleges has organized our programs under nine Fields of Interest to help you decide which career path is best for you. Once you choose your field of interest and enroll in a program, you can follow the course sequence you need to seamlessly transfer to a university to get your bachelor’s degree. As long as you follow the course sequence and meet the program requirements, university acceptance in guaranteed.
Beyond Transfer Pathways with Arizona’s public universities, Maricopa Community Colleges has well-established partnerships with more than 40 institutions within and outside the state. Private and out-of-state transfer partners include Grand Canyon University, Prescott College, Columbia College Chicago, and Western New Mexico University, to name a few.
If you transferred to an Arizona university before completing your associate degree, you might still be able to earn your associate degree with a combination of your community college and university credits through the Reverse Transfer initiative. If you’ve done the work, don’t miss out on the associate degree you’ve earned – at no additional cost to you.
