Aziz AlhadiThis poetry competition is in honor of Aziz Alhadi, the former Director of International Education at Mesa Community College, who passed away this summer. Aziz joined MCC in 2019, bringing over 20 years of experience in international education, and was admired for his visionary thinking and ability to bring about meaningful change. Aziz treated everyone with respect and always had a warm smile for everyone he met. He will be remembered for his poems, passion, unwavering dedication, and positive influence on his colleagues and students. His loss is deeply felt.
