Center for Excellence in Inclusive Democracy (CEID)

The Center for Excellence in Inclusive Democracy (CEID) at Maricopa Community Colleges is committed to fostering meaningful relationships between our organization and the communities we serve by advancing democracy and civic engagement, shared governance, academic freedom, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Civic engagement is central to our mission, and through partnerships with community organizations, nonprofits, and civic groups, we ensure our programs empower students to grow beyond the classroom. By promoting these values, CEID strengthens our organizational culture and enhances our impact on students and the communities we serve.
