Industrial Electrical Systems
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Industrial Electrical Systems program curriculum is designed to prepare students to troubleshoot, maintain and repair a variety of automated electro-mechanical, product assembly and product distribution systems that use electrical devices. An Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Automated Industrial Technology (AIT) and additional AIT Certificates of Completion (CCL) are also available at select colleges. Please check with your local college for program availability.
Details
This program is not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid.
Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program.
- Describe and adhere to safety, health and environmental rules and regulations. (AIT100, AIT125, AIT225, AIT227)
- Analyze AC/DC circuits in analog and digital systems. (AIT125)
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of automated industrial equipment. (AIT125, AIT225)
- Test electrical and power distribution systems, including calibration and adjustment as necessary. (AIT125, AIT225, AIT227)
- Interpret electrical and power schematics. (AIT125, AIT225, AIT227)
- Measure current, voltage and resistance. (AIT125, AIT225, AIT227)
- Troubleshoot and repair motor and electrical systems. (AIT125, AIT225, AIT227)
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. (AIT125, AIT225, AIT227)
