The Nursing Student Success Pathway Assessment Tool (NSSPAT) is a unique, evidence-based tool. After completing the NSSPAT in your Clinical Wallet, follow the recommended pathways based on your risk scores. Your course instructor will advise you on how to provide accountability to complete each pathway.
Life Balance and Support System Pathway
Maintaining life balance is complicated in nursing school, and one tiny event can cause chaos leaving students feeling overwhelmed. Everyone needs a support system while in nursing school, but not everyone has a supportive network. This Pathway will teach you skills and help you to identify support systems within the college system that will help relieve the stress of being a nursing student and restore balance.

- Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT)—A collaborative team with experience working in counseling, disability resources, student success, student activities and services, student discipline, and college police and public safety.
- Bilingual Nurse Fellowship Program (BNFP)—A program to increase the number of nursing students who speak, read, and write English and Spanish fluently.

- Connect 4 Success—Mentoring program that matches students one-to-one with staff or faculty for extra support.

Access your campus’s Learning Center below for resources and free tutoring on topics such as nursing, math, reading, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, writing, study strategies, testing strategies, organization, and time management.
As a part of your HESI exams (A2, Fundamentals, Mental Health, Med/Surg, and Exit Exam) you receive a full remediation program. Access information for HESI Exam Remediation to build your knowledge.
Campus Library and Learning Resource Center—Each campus has copies of additional resources like NCLEX review books, HESI prep books, etc., available for student use.
