As a histotechnician, you can be part of a histology team working with tissue specimens to diagnose disease and abnormalities. The job requires trained individuals who are focused and detail-oriented to help ensure accurate testing and results — people’s lives can be in the hands of yourself and your dedicated team.

Our Histologic Technology program will prepare you to work as a histotechnician and provide clinical support to pathologists and researchers. You’ll learn proper lab procedures, how to process tissue for microscopic examination, and how to assist in frozen section procedures. You’ll also learn embedding methods, microtomy, and special staining techniques.
