  1. Formulate a business plan applying components and growth strategies for fashion entrepreneurship.
  2. Analyze the process for product development for an apparel collection.
  3. Select appropriate fabrics and weaves for specific items of collection apparel.
  4. Assess apparel production management including but not limited to details of technical package, specifications and costs.
  5. Facilitate apparel sales through visual display, fashion shows, and online promotion.
  6. Analyze fashion advertising scenarios for target markets.

The following is the suggested course sequence by term. Please keep in mind:

  • Initial course placement is determined by current district placement measures and/or completion of 100-200 level course and/or program requirements.
  • Degree and transfer seeking students may be required to successfully complete a MCCCD First Year Experience Course (FYE) within the first two semesters at a MCCCD College.
