Working with online statistics provider Statista, Forbes surveyed 30,000 American employees working for large (more than 5,000 employees in the U.S.) and midsize (between 1,000 and 5,000 employees in the U.S.) employers in 25 different industries. The willingness to recommend one’s own employer was considered to be the most important dimension of the assessment.
A total of 60 education-based employers, from school districts to universities, were recognized in the 800 best large and midsized employers.
