On June 3, 2017, the Maricopa Community Colleges Governing Board elected Mr. Laurin Hendrix as President.
The board unanimously voted for Hendrix 6-0 during a special session after Alfredo Gutierrez resigned from the position earlier this week, but will still remain on the board.
Hendrix, who represents District 1, was elected to the board in 2016.
