The finalists are selected based upon their competency in three areas: teaching, service, and “dedication, professionalism, and compassion.” Twenty-four award winners were chosen to be honored at a special award ceremony held on Friday, April 14 at the Rio Salado Community College Conference Center from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. “Congratulations to our outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award winners and all of our faculty, who give tirelessly to help our students prepare to meet the challenges of tomorrow’s workplace,” said Chancellor Maria Harper-Marinick. “The high demand for skilled workers by Arizona employers makes it crucial, for us as educators, to be truly innovative in the way we prepare the next generation of leaders and employees.”
The 2016 – 2017 Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award Winners are:
