In partnership with Terros Health, the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is excited to announce the 19th Annual Cesar Chavez Integrated Healthcare Conference, Empowering Communities, designed for healthcare professionals.
What: Healthcare professionals attending the conference will receive up to five hours of continuing education. Topics presented include Building Resilience with Professional Body Armour for the Nervous System, Culturally Responsive Care, Best Practices in Ending Homelessness, and Gender Expansive Communities in Practice.
Who: Dr. Karen Tepper, Ph.D., President and CEO of Terros Health, will provide the conference welcome remarks; Dr. Thomas E. Rojo Aubrey, a South Mountain Community College faculty member, will deliver a keynote address on Building Resilience with Professional Body Armour for the Nervous System.
When: Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost: There is no cost to attend the conference; however, a limited number of seats are still available (approximately 50), and registration is required to attend.
