Arizona Community College Workforce Scholarship Program
Governor Katie Hobbs and Arizona’s 10 public community college districts are partnering to create the Arizona Community College Workforce Scholarship program. The scholarship will help Arizonans earn a credential or degree and build advanced skills that lead to jobs in high-wage, high-growth occupations.
Meeting the Needs of the State’s Economy with Postsecondary Education
This scholarship aims to foster a skilled workforce tailored to the evolving demands of our state’s economy. The scholarship will incentivize Arizona students to pursue higher education and earn a credential, license, or degree, moving the state closer to reaching its Achieve60AZ education attainment goal. Governor Hobbs has allocated $4.5 million in federal funding to kick-start the scholarship, with the goal of the program continuing in the future with public or private funding.

The Arizona Community College Workforce Scholarship program is projected to serve as many as 10,000 Arizona students, including working adults looking to upskill and reskill, with $600 offered for part-time students and $1200 for full-time students.
