Here, you'll find a comprehensive collection of resources, services, and programs designed to support the diverse needs of our LGBTQIA2S+ community. Whether you're seeking opportunities to connect with others, medical care options, mental health support, advice, or something else, we aim to ensure everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
Support Groups and Resources
Our various student clubs are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for LGBTQIA2S+ students. We invite you to explore the group available on your campus:

- One-N-Ten — Assisting LGBTQ youth ages 14 to 24.
- RipplePhx — Addressing HIV through impact-focused splashes of awareness.
- Gender Identity Center — Providing therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- PFLAG Phoenix — Advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
- Phoenix Pride — Promoting a positive LGBTQ+ image through programs and partnerships.
- One Community Arizona — Advocating for workplace equality and equal treatment in housing and public accommodations.
- Trans Spectrum of Arizona — Providing support and resources to the trans community.
- TQ Pueblo — Providing shelter for LGBT+ migrants of color in Arizona.
- Greater Phoenix Equality Chamber of Commerce — Promoting an equitable business community for LGBTQ+ businesses in the Greater Phoenix area.
- Community Church of Hope — Serving the spiritual needs of LGBTQ+ youth.
- Prism Counseling & Coaching — Providing pastoral counseling to LGBTQ+ people.
- Advocates for Trans Equality — Providing the trans community with vital tools, knowledge, and services.
- Spectrum Medical Care — Offering compassionate and inclusive whole-person care for the LGBTQ+ community.
- Be Well Family Care — Offering a wide range of medical services including HIV and transgender care.
- The Southwest Center — Providing affordable primary healthcare and wellness for LGBTQ+.
- The Trevor Project — Creating an online community for LGBTQ young people between the ages of 13 to 24.
Qualified LGBTQ individuals and families can use the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This monthly nutrition program provides funds to purchase healthy food from local grocery stores, farmers' markets, or online.

The Equality Maricopa PRISM Scholarship Fund is available through the Maricopa Foundation scholarship portal. Preference is given to LGBTQIA+ students.
Requirements:
- Enrolled at a Maricopa Community College
- Minimum 2.0 GPA or GED seeking,
- Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Demonstrate financial need
Students must describe their activities in the LGBTQIA+ community and share any barriers they may have encountered and how this scholarship may help them achieve their educational goals.
The estimated amount of this award varies. Awards vary per semester.
