For the 36th Annual Maricopa Community Colleges Student Success Conference, we invite you to engage in the important and continuing work of making our institutions more equitable, inclusive, and accessible with a focus on transparency as a framework to shape, guide, and inform that work.
For some, transparency is a call to be more open about processes and practices. For others, transparency is about making information more visible and more accessible for our respective stakeholders. And still for others, transparency is regarded less as a product and more as a disposition and ethic to strive towards becoming.
We use these varied conceptions of transparency as a backdrop for this year's conference to help us think broadly and reflect critically on the role transparency plays within our scope of work and the specific aspects of our work that must be more transparent to our students.
More specifically, we ask: How can we comprehensively enhance transparency both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring that student support services and resources are easily accessible, while also implementing effective frameworks, best practices, and strategies for faculty to promote clarity regarding academic procedures, practices, and expectations?
We look forward to your participation in this year's Student Success Conference, where we will explore these vital questions by delving into our understanding of transparency and its role in the success of our students, and we thank you for joining our 2024 conference and participating in these important conversations. We hope you will find the sessions informative and inspiring. We also thank you for choosing to be a part of the Maricopa Community Colleges. Together, through a culture of care and support, we will help our students to achieve their academic and personal goals.

In the heart of a vibrant downtown, the Mesa Convention Center is located on the southeast corner of University Drive and Center Street.

Links to all live sessions can be found on our Agenda and Breakout Session pages. You will be able to log into the sessions up to fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of the session. Recordings will be posted as soon as they are available
Earn a Maricopa Digital Badge
All participants can receive a Maricopa Digital Badge. In order to receive a digital badge for participating in the conference, attendees must:
- Participate in all sessions synchronously
- Complete the evaluation and assessment by 4:00 pm, Monday, October 28, 2024.
The Assessment and Evaluation link will be sent via email from Eventbrite at the conclusion of the 2024 Student Success Conference to all registered attendees and will also be posted on the Event website
