The Application Process
No. Applications can only be accepted through our careers webpage.
Please review the External Applicant Guide for help in applying for a position.
If a position is no longer posted on our Careers site, a user is unable to withdraw their application. This does not affect other current applications or the ability to apply for future positions.
Once an application is submitted, it can’t be updated. If the position is still posted on our careers webpage, you may reapply to the posting and withdraw your original application.
To withdraw from a position:
- Sign in to your Applicant Account
- Click on My Job Applications
- Locate the application you wish to withdraw and click on Withdraw
- Click OK to finalize the withdrawal
You can withdraw your application and reapply for the desired position.
To withdraw from a position:
- Sign in to your Applicant Account
- Click on My Job Applications
- Locate the application you wish to withdraw and click on Withdraw
- Click OK to finalize the withdrawal
You can re-apply to the posting as long as it is still posted on the Careers site.
When an application is successfully submitted, you will receive a system-generated confirmation.
Your application status can also be viewed in My Job Applications:
- Go to jobs.maricopa.edu and Sign In
- Click on My Job Applications
Steps 3-7 of the application process (labeled Resume), allows you to attach a resume and cover letter.
- Click on the appropriate box
- Select My Device
- Navigate to the desired file and click on File to attach the file
- Click Open
- Click Upload
You can also attach a file by clicking and dragging the desired file into the File Attachment box, then clicking Upload.
More attachments can be added in Steps 4 of 7 (labeled Attachments).
- Click on Add Attachment
- Select the dropdown arrow in the Attachment Type box
- Select the type of attachment
- Click in the Attachment Title box
- Enter the title of your choice
- Click on Continue in the upper right of the dialog box
- Attach your file using one of the previously mentioned methods
Please try the following solutions:
- Clear your browser's cache
- Use a different browser (Chrome, MS Edge, Firefox)
- Restart your computer
- Shorten the file name to less than 20 characters with no spaces (if applicable)

Specially Funded positions are the result of an internal or external funding proposal or a college or district supported fee-generating program. These positions have an end-date, based on the funding available for the position.
A driver's license is required because some positions require driving between campuses or to off-campus sites as part of the job. Review the Motor Vehicle Driving Requirements for more information.

If the application you wish to delete is for a position that is still open, you will need to withdraw and reapply.
If the position is no longer open, you will not be able to delete or change the application.
If you are still in the process of applying for the position, go to Steps 3 or 4 and click on the appropriate button:
- Change Resume
- Change Cover Letter
- Use different attachment
Change the document you no longer want and attach it with an updated one, if desired.

To review the job posting, click the box to the right of the posting (displayed as an "arrow" or "greater than" symbol).

If you are willing to teach at any of our campus locations, be sure to indicate so in Step 5 of 8 under Qualifications by clicking Add Location Preference. This is where you will choose a desired campus.

The salary range for new full-time faculty is currently $49,705-$95,595 annually.

When choosing a password, please ensure that your password meets the following criteria:
- Password has a minimum of 10 characters with at least 1 number, 1 uppercase character, and 1 special character from the set (!@#$%^&*-_=+\|]}[{;:/?.><,`)
- Password does not match your username
- Password does not match any of your email addresses
For security purposes, the system will shorten your password to 3 dots (...). If you are unable to login, check your password to ensure you are entering it correctly or reset your password if needed.
We recommend trying the following solutions first:
- Verify your username
- Verify the email address used
- Check your email spam folder
- Clear your browser’s cache
- Use a different browser (Chrome, MS Edge, Firefox)
- Restart your computer
- Try using Forgot Username

The Applicant system is not part of the systems that use a MEID. MEIDs should not be used for creating an Applicant account. If you are a current employee, you must apply internally through HCM. Refer to these instructions for more information.
