Vice Chancellor of Business Services
Kim Granio is the Vice Chancellor of Business Services for the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD). She is responsible for all of the finances of the District including budget development, financial statement development and audit, Procurement, Risk Management, and Facilities Planning & Development. Additionally, Ms. Granio oversees the administrative functions of Internal Audit and Management Advisory Services along with overseeing the District’s police department.
Ms. Granio has more than 25 years of extensive experience in higher education at MCCCD, including 15 years as its Associate Chief Financial Officer & Controller. Prior to the role of Controller, Ms. Granio honed her skills and knowledge in Grants Accounting, Student Financial Services, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Capital Assets Accounting, General Accounting, and Financial Reporting, including the annual financial statement and Federal audits.
Prior to joining MCCCD, Ms. Granio served as a Financial Auditor for the Arizona Office of the Auditor General for 3 ½ years. During her time as an auditor, she performed financial audits of varying entities including community college districts, universities, counties, state agencies, and school districts.
