Dr. Georgetta Kelly

Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer

With over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources profession, Dr. Georgetta Kelly offers a unique blend of transformative leadership, knowledge, humility, and inspiration. She has served as a Human Resources Executive in municipal and county government along with K-12 education with noteworthy accomplishments and team successes. In addition, Georgetta is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served on active duty for almost 10 years, with notable achievements and commendations. She has also served on various boards and volunteers within the community.

She holds two senior-level certifications within the field of human resources: Senior Professional in Human Resources and Senior Certified Professional through the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management. Georgetta has a broad and in-depth understanding of human resources practices and concepts and the inner workings of organizational systems. She works to cultivate, connect, and empower people and organizations for success.

Georgetta holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Friends University, and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Dayton.
